Our virtual experiences are warm, welcoming, and deep. We would be thrilled to have you as part of our holy community this year.

Each gathering will include:

  • Healing prayers & Kaddish
  • Teachings & Jewish texts

Cost? Our High Holy Day Experiences are "pay what you can" in the range of $72-$144 for all 5 gatherings. Your tax-deductible donations help us offer this program. Nobody will be turned away. Contact us if you need a scholarship. If you can pay more, that helps us to make scholarships available!

About Our High Holy Day Leaders

Rabbi Jill Zimmerman

Founder, Path With Heart: A Jewish Mindfulness Community

Rabbi Jill is the founding rabbi of Path With Heart, which offers inclusive spiritual experiences and materials. She believes that the sacred comes in many forms and regularly includes poetry, music, and other forms of creativity in her work. She teaches widely on the intersection of spirituality and mindfulness. Rabbi Jill is also the founder of Hineni, an online Jewish spirituality & mindfulness community.  Rabbi Zimmerman is a spiritual activist and speaks out on issues of our time from a Jewish perspective.

Monica Scott

Monica Scott

Cellist

Monica Scott is an active teacher and cellist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She performs classical and avant-garde chamber music, as well as composing for her multi-media quartet LIGHTFAST.

Cantor Fran Chalin

Clergy and Educator M.S.W./M.J.C.S

Cantor Chalin has been both clergy and educator in the Los Angeles Jewish community for more than 20 years. She served as cantor for Beth Chayim Chadashim, the world’s first synagogue with outreach to the LGBT Jewish community She currently serves as a hospice chaplain with VITAS, working with families as they confront dying and death. In addition to her family, Fran loves are writing, teaching and preserving the Yiddish language. She also directs a Yiddish chorus called Zingen Far Sholem (Singing for Peace).

Mary Artmann

Cellist

Cellist Mary Artmann is an active chamber musician, recitalist, and freelancer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Artmann maintains a private teaching studio and is committed to using

her musical skills to address our global climate emergency.

A Path with Heart: A Jewish Mindfulness Community with Rabbi Jill Zimmerman

Rabbi Jill Zimmerman is the founding rabbi of Path With Heart: A Jewish Mindfulness Community, which offers inclusive spiritual experiences and materials. She believes that the sacred comes in many forms and regularly includes poetry, music, and other forms of creativity in her work. She teaches widely on the intersection of spirituality and mindfulness. Rabbi Jill is also the founder of Hineni, an online Jewish spirituality & mindfulness community.  She offers spiritual counseling, officiates lifecycle events & teaches online and in person. Rabbi Zimmerman is a spiritual activist and speaks out on issues of our time from a Jewish perspective. She is available for teaching, Scholar-in-Residence retreats, and day-long workshops.
