Your Soul's Current Chapter
What Meaningful Journey Defines This Season?
This course is for you as you navigate your path.
Every spiritual journey invites us to step beyond the comfort of the familiar into the sacred wilderness of uncertainty.
Transformation happens in the shadows of the unknown, and we emerge on the other side not merely changed but awakened to new dimensions of our strength and wisdom.
In this course, we will delve into the theme of Journeying. Journey stands at the heart of Jewish tradition, especially during the sacred season right after Passover: Counting the Omer.
Your Omer Spiritual Journey Course
In this course, we immerse ourselves in Jewish texts and metaphors to explore the principles of the Spiritual Journey. Our sessions help you create a map of the territory, and tools to better navigate the unknown. Through Jewish texts, discussion, poetry, and music, we explore the themes of this season and apply them to our own lives:
Session 1: The Map of the Territory: “By Walking, One Makes The Road”
Session 2: The Winding Path Through the Wilderness
Session 3: Not Knowing (the wisdom of the unknown)
Session 4: Companions, Faith, & Arriving
Counting the Omer Together
We count the 49 days between Passover until we reach Shavuot. This time is called "Counting the Omer."
These seven weeks hold deep spiritual significance. At its essence, the Omer is about journey and transformation - moving from liberation to revelation, from freedom to purpose.
Who is this course for?

Why is now the time?
While we each have our own paths, we find ourselves in a world that is filled with uncertainty. We are dealing with threats to our safety and security, and political instability.
Especially in times like this, we need each other. Rabbi Aaron Roth (d. 1944) advised that in times of darkness, we should "go among people who are awake, and where a light shines darkly."
Our course, with its timeless themes set in an environment of inclusion and honesty, will be a place to ground yourself in what is most important.
