please join us for a morning of mindfulness and music
Saturday August 15, 2015
9:30 am – 11:30 am
private home in West Los Angeles, CA (address given upon registration)
With Rabbi Jill Zimmerman
featuring musical artist Ariel Root Wolpe
Last month, we had a truly beautiful morning of peace, centering and deep discussion focused around the still small voice within. Many of you have requested more experiences like this – so we are doing it again!
The Hebrew month of Elul is a time of waking up and spiritual preparation for the High Holy Day season soon to come. This morning will begin the process and suggest spiritual practices to ready our souls to greet the new year with intention and gentleness. Elul begins Saturday August 15 – PERFECT timing!
Loosely based on the flow of a Shabbat morning service, we sing soulful songs, and add poetry, simple prayer and some silence to create both an individual depth experience as well as a feeling of intimacy and community. No Hebrew necessary. Everyone is welcome just as you are.
** We only have room for 40 people in our home, so please register as soon as possible to ensure your space. We will eventually open up to a virtual program. Stay tuned if you are not close to Los Angeles.
