Join Rabbi Jill in conversation with Reb Irwin Keller, for our Hineni Shabbat. Reb Irwin is a gifted teacher, writer, music-maker, and performer. He has recently released a new book, Shechinah at the Art Institute, which is a collection of his essays, memoirs, and poetry.
He will read from his new book and Rabbi Jill will interview him about his life and journey, which has been magical. Reb Irwin is the spiritual leader of Congregation Ner Shalom in Cotati, CA.
Feel free to share this one-time opportunity with friends and family. Please make sure that you register before December 20th. Early registration will make sure that you receive materials that will be shared before our gathering.
Reb Keller’s most recent book, Shechinah at the Art Institute, “is a collection of essays, memoir, and poetry by Rabbi, former drag queen, and self-proclaimed “hope-monger,” Irwin Keller. It will lead you on a dazzling journey into Jewish mysticism, love, loss, memory, gender, AIDS, and the Milky Way.”
