Your Guide For The 49 Days of Counting…
By Rabbi Jill Zimmerman
Thank you for your interest in Journey.
This workbook is a unique map of the territory laying out seven themes of spiritual journey*. There are 49 questions for journaling & discussion, one for each day of the Omer. There are texts for each week, poetry, and music.
This workbook is for you, whether you are Jewish or not, or even if you have never engaged in this spiritual practice. You will find powerful metaphors that can serve as a guide to awakening to your journey, wandering in the wilderness, and what “arrival” can mean. The book has texts that speak to having fear and doubts, and how to stay on your path, even when you can’t see the destination.

You can begin at the beginning and count the omer in sync with others around the world. (For a calendar of dates to count with people all over the world, click here.)
Alternatively, you can jump into any week or questions that feel relevant to you in your own journey. Do whatever works for you.
