Here’s the backstory to why I wrote this book. Recently, I asked on my social media platforms “How would you describe your emotional state right now?” I received over 2272 responses describing the vast exhaustion and overwhelm that so many of us are living with right now.
I wrote this book with the intention of reminding you of what you already know inside yourself: it is essential – not “maybe tomorrow” — to have regular ways to nourish your spirit. Otherwise, you will be too burned out or discouraged to participate in the urgent work that needs to be done – even when that work is simply being kinder in your own family.
